Here is a simple solution ..... a vending machine at KSRTC bus stand at Thrissur, Kerela, India dispenses vegetable seeds for six types of seeds, including spinach, pulses, ladyfinger and cucumber.Vending machine was set up by Kerala State Seed Development Authority.Each packet of seed will cost just 10Rs only.
There was huge demand on first day itself. I could see people standing in queue to get seeds. This is definitely a positive steps and will boost growing Organic vegetables at home.We can expect more and more of these machines coming up in different parts of Kerala.
